What’s inside the box?
While every city is unique, you can expect to find the following in a typical box:

  • A LIVE 1.5-2 hour virtual cooking class with a chef from the featured city & printed recipe cards. You'll also get the recorded class in case you cannot attend live, the live class has passed, or you want tor re-watch.
  • Special ingredients you’ll use for your cooking class sourced from the featured region, and a printed shopping list of fresh ingredients and pantry items you'll want on hand.
  • A LIVE 1-1.5 hour cultural activity (e.g. Watercolor class, Tea ceremony) with a local expert, and the main supplies you’ll need for the activity. You'll also get the recorded class in case you cannot attend live or want tor re-watch.
  • Snacks and other goodies from the featured region for you to enjoy.
  • Roundup of our favorite places in the featured city & curated Spotify playlist.
  • 20% of all profits to go to the featured artisan and chef. Thank you for supporting small businesses around the world!!

When will my box arrive?
Our quarterly seasonal boxes ship on the following schedule: Fall (end of August), Winter (end of November), Spring (end of February), and Summer (end of May). We also release special edition boxes, so follow us on social or subscribe to our newsletter for the latest.

If you've purchased one of our special edition boxes (e.g. Date Night Box) or outside the seasonal shipping dates, we will ship your order within 3-5 business days.

Our boxes ship USPS priority shipping, but please know we are continuing to see delays with COVID. We will send you an email as soon as your box has shipped and will include tracking info so you can keep an eye on it! 

Can I gift a box?
Yes, TROVE boxes make great gifts!  You can gift a single box, quarterly subscription, annual subscription, or a gift card. Have something special in mind? Don't hesitate to email us if you're looking to customize a gift (e.g. 3 boxes or a private class with one of our chefs or artisans).

Simply select "Is this a gift" on the product page before you add to cart, and let us know their name, email address, and what you'd like their card to say. We include a handwritten card inside the box and also send them an email with more information about their gift.

Where do you ship?
We ship to all 48 contiguous states in the United States and Hawaii and Alaska. Currently, we are unable to Canada or internationally. If you’re interested in this, please let us know! You can reach us at info@hello-trove.com.

How much is shipping?
Shipping is a flat rate of $10 to the 48 contiguous states in the United States and $16.42 for shipping to Hawaii and Alaska.

Where can I find my tracking number?

Once your box ships, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can also view your tracking information by logging into your account and viewing "your order(s).”

Do I need to be home to accept my delivery?
Nope! Our boxes do not require refrigeration or a signature for delivery.

What is your refund policy?
Due to the nature of the types of products we sell, we do not offer refunds. All sales are final.

How do I access the live Zoom classes?
Your box and reminder emails will include a link where you can access all your TROVE vacation details and the links to your live Zoom classes. If you’re unable to attend the class live, we will post the recorded versions of the classes that you can watch on your own schedule within 24 hours of the live class. 

What if I can’t join the Zoom class?
Don't stress! We know you are busy, and will be recording all live classes so you can enjoy them on your own schedule. We’ve also included printed recipes in your box for the cooking class to help guide you.

How can I be involved in the TROVE community?
We know one of the best parts about traveling are the serendipitous meetings with other travelers where you can swap stories, favorite memories, and tips. Join our Facebook group and follow us @hellotrove to be a part of an active community of passionate world travelers and stay in touch with our featured chefs and artisans. Share what you’ve made, discover more recipes and expert tips, and other travel inspo on Facebook and Instagram, and tag us using #HelloTrove.   

Can I customize my box for dietary restrictions and food allergies?
At this time, we are not able to customize the special ingredients and snacks that come in your box. However, we hope to make this option available in the future. For your TROVE cooking class, we encourage you to attend the live zoom class so you can get recommendations on substitutions you can use for provided recipes.

How can I re-order the special ingredients and snacks I love?
It’s great to hear that you loved the snacks and goodies as much as we do! You can re-order via our Marketplace. Don't see something?  Let us know and we will see what we can do!

I’m an influencer, can I get a free TROVE box to review?
