This Spring, we are headed to the breathtaking islands of Hawaii. Learn how to make 3 iconic Hawaii dishes – spam musubi, garlic shrimp and butter mochi. Then weave your own ribbon lei, a traditional greeting or way to honor someone. We have also packed this box with so many goodies and special treats from local artisans we met on our last trip to one of our favorite islands - Honolulu.
Meet your Chef: Angela
Chef Angela is a Honolulu-based Chef will fill your kitchens with so much laughter and love! She has been a personal chef for the last 12 years and is the founder of ‘That Girl Cooks’ and worked as a Culinary Expert at Williams-Sonoma for over a decade. Chef Angela is passionate about cooking because food brings people together and she will share how to make three iconic Hawaii dishes.
Meet your Artist: Gina
Gina is the Founder of Eco Mindful Lei which infuses the Hawaiian value of Aloha Aina — meaning to love all that sustains life: the earth, the ocean, the air – into her teaching and making of sustainable, 100% earth-friendly leis in beautiful Waikiki. Together, you’ll make a lei using upcycled materials and Gina will share the long-standing culture and tradition behind the lei.

I received Trove as a birthday gift because I am known for my love of cooking, baking and traveling. That said, I have a limited flavor palete so it did take me several months before selecting a box. Once I did, and received the box, I was blown away by the personal touches by Emilie and Erika. I believe in first impressions, and even the box itself was lovely. Everything was well packaged and nothing came damaged. The local treats are huge delight and I love that there was a craft included in my box. Additionally, there was a note from the Emilie and Erika, a guide to what was in the box and a detailed out recipe card for each item we made. I really felt like I was transported to Germany for a night. I had a question regarding the cooking class and reached out to the owners via Instagram. They were quick to respond and personable in their reply. The online cooking lesson was fairly easy to follow along. Since I watched it after it went live, I was able to pause, fast forward and stop as needed. For me, I found this to better than live so we could take our time and make sure everything wad measured out correctly. I did miss out on the interaction with everyone, however. I would highly recommend, and already have. this experience to anyone. It's truly one of the best!

The Germany Box was our first Trove experience and we highly recommend! I found Trove on amazon and thought I would give it a try - I was beyond impressed. This treasure box gave me an opportunity to connect with my teenage daughter and experience cultures and cuisine from around the world- all from the comfort of our home. We look forword to each shipment filled with unique handcrafted treasures, experiences and we learn new skills. Thank you for this gift of feeling like feeling like a world traveler.
I came across Trove and ordered a past box to see if I wanted to subscribe. When it came I was so impressed that I ordered the other past box available as well as a one year subscription. The three boxes (and apron) received have all been just outstanding. Emilie and Erika obviously have a passion for this, and they have really gone out of their way to make a great product. Each box is an event!
I LOVED this box and this experience. Chef Graciela was amazing and I very much enjoyed following along with her as she taught us how to make mole, tortillas, and hot chocolate. I'm looking forward to making the craft next.
